Day 738 - Goodbye
Not only is this the final Project Daily character it also marks the 2nd birthday of Project Daily. This seemed like the best time to end the daily blog, as life has changed in the past two years and I can no longer dedicate the same amount of time that I once was able to when I began this project.
In the past two years Project Daily has been featured on the “Illustration” tag twice, “Artists on Tumblr” tag three times and Tumblr Radar twice. Along with this a handful of characters have appeared on popular blogs, including EatSleepDraw on a handful of occasions. This is something that I thought would never build up the kind of traction that it has and I am very grateful for the exposure.
I would also like to thank all 3506 of my followers and everyone who has ever rebloged or liked a character, especially the ones who do so on such a regular basis. Without the awesome people who follow Project Daily I’d probably would have given up a long time ago.
As for the plans for the future? After a few months off of character illustration I might come back to it but I am not sure yet. Time will tell if I do or not. If you wish, you can follow my other tumblr blog for all kind of other interesting things I do and/or opinion.
